Coronavirus (COVID-19) Updates
Vacation Continuance Policy:
We want to make every effort to help you still plan your visit to the Olympic Peninsula. We know this has been a stressful and challenging season for all of us and hope to help alleviate some of that stress when it comes to your vacation plans. Cancellation policies are more flexible than in the past. Feel free to contact our office to discuss moving your reservation if you feel that your current booking can not be kept at this time.
Cancellation Policy Update:
Reservations booked prior to 11/15/2020 that occur during the latest shutdown (11/15 to 12/15/2020) may be canceled for a full refund.
Reservations booked directly with Brigadoon Vacation Rentals after May 31st, 2020 for 2020 dates will receive a refund of deposited funds minus a $35 Cancellation Fee when cancelled in writing before 14 days of arrival. Cancellations made between 7 - 14 days before arrival will only receive a 50% refund of deposited funds after the $35 Cancellation Fee has been applied. Reservations made for dates in 2021 and beyond are subject to our normal cancellation policy.
Airbnb Reservations: After October 1st, 2020, all cancellations will be under the Moderate Policy and eligible for a full refund (after the $35 Cancellation Fee) of funds paid to Brigadoon Vacation Rentals up to 14 days prior to arrival, 50% refund up to 7 days prior after the $35 Cancellation Fee is applied; zero refund within 7 days.
HomeAway/VRBO Reservations: For the remainder of the 2020 year, if a reservation is canceled 14 days before arrival, we will refund deposited rental costs minus the $35 Cancellation Fee. If cancelled 7-14 days before arrival, 50% of the deposited rental costs will be refunded after the $35 Cancellation Fee is applied. Cancellation and/or service fees of listing site may still apply.
Reservations made starting November 18th, 2020 on sequimrentals.com:
New bookings made directly on our sequimrentals website will only need to pay the $35 Non-Refundable Processing Fee plus 25% of your reservation at the time of booking. We will not charge the balance of your reservation until 14 days prior to your arrival date. This is to encourage you to still dream about that much needed getaway this year at a much lower financial risk. The updated cancellation policy will apply. If you need to cancel the reservation, it must be in writing before 14 days of arrival.
In addition to our already conscientious cleaning procedures, we want to assure you that we are taking extra measures to disinfect and sanitize high touch surfaces with CDC-approved cleaning products. These include but are not limited to light switches, remotes, door and cabinet knobs, appliances, kitchen counters, vacuum/mop handles and keys/keypads and or lockboxes. We will also provide disinfectant wipes in each home for guest use during their stay (as long as supplies last). Dishes will be sanitized in the dishwasher. We also request that a guest showing signs/symptoms of being ill while staying in one of our homes immediately inform us for the safety of our cleaning contractors and so that we can further address the cleaning/sanitizing of the home accordingly.
