Hidden mid-way between Sequim and Port Angeles at the end of a quiet road, with a vantage point overlooking the seascape of the Strait of Juan de Fuca , is where you will find the Humblebee Hive. Verging alongside a wildlife conservation area provides the certainty of catching site of bald eagles, deer & more.
The Humblebee Hive shares with it's vacation rental home neighbors, the "Hideaway House & Hut"as well as the "Sea Breeze", the same alluring trail which descends to the salt water beach below. This five minute hiking adventure reveals a lagoon and private , pristine beach where you might possibly be greeted by otters, eagles and seals. From here you can wander the beach for miles in either direction. The Dungeness Wildlife Refuge is within view and can be reached by avid beach combers.
Cyclists will apppreciate the short jaunt from the Humblebee Hive to the Olympic Discovery Trail where you will find over thirty miles of bicycle path to enjoy.
